Our mission at JBF is to provide one month of Rent, Food, and Clothes to people who have completed treatment for substance abuse and are transitioning into a sober living environment. We know firsthand how important it is in the first 30 days of recovery and we want to remove major obstacles and concerns so you can focus on your recovery.

The J Bloomfield Foundation was created in November 2020 as a response to the lack of charity for sober living environments during the lockdowns of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our founder felt blessed to have found safety and support in his sober living environment and wanted to create a non profit that would help others find the same stability for their recovery.

Our three founding members are sober Pasadena locals who are passionate about helping the Pasadena recovery community. We hope to demonstrate how a community-driven effort of charity can provide noticeable impact to individuals striving to create a new life.
